Cynthia Valente will be Kennedy's Student Services Coordinator. She will work closely with students and their families in an effort to support the social, emotional, and behavioral well-being of Kennedy students. Ms. Valente will also oversee student discipline processes, ensuring fair and consistent enforcement of school policies and procedures.

Ms. Valente was born and raised in Redwood City. For the past six years, she has worked for the Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula in various roles and, most recently, as a Site Director in Daly City. Ms. Valente started as a Middle School Academic Advisor at Hoover School. After three years, she transferred to Kennedy to launch BGCP in 2020. In less than a year, Ms. Valente built relationships with students, teachers, families, and the community. As the new Student Services Coordinator, she is excited to return and be a resource to everyone. Ms. Valente looks forward to meeting everyone and giving back to the community.
