7th Grade ELD/Math/Study Skills - Klein, Peggy

Peggy Klein

About Me:

I am an Educational Specialist at Kennedy teaching in RSP (Resource Specialist Program). The 2021-2022 school year is my 10th year at Kennedy Middle School. In the past 10 years, I have taught RSP classes in ELA, Math, and Study Skills classes to 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students.
I got my multiple subject credential from San Francisco State University in 2000. I left teaching to raise my three children (who are all adults now), and went back to school and got my Education Specialist credential at Notre Dame de Namur in Belmont in 2012.
After college, I was in the Peace Corps for three years in West Africa.
When I am not teaching, I most enjoy hanging out with friends and traveling with my husband. We have traveled to China, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, and many places around the USA. Since my two favorite activities are not an option these days, I have spent more time on my other hobbies—including making ice cream from scratch. My favorite flavors are Jasmine Green Tea, Maple Bacon, or Roasted Marshmallow. I got started making ice cream when I won a flavor creating contest over 20 years ago from Dreyer's Ice Cream. My winning flavor was called Peppermint Patty loves Charlie Brownie. You can guess what the ingredients were.
You can contact me with any questions or if you would like to make an appointment to see me.
