About Me:

My name is Mr. Derum! I am a 4th year teacher excited for another great year. I was born and raised in Northern Califoria at the very rural Lake County. I came to San Francisco State University to experience city living and fell in love with teaching. I have always wanted to use math to benefit people and I found that with teaching, I can help students learn to appreciate math the way I do. It isn't always easy but through discovery students can see the importance of the math that exists all around them.
