About Me: Dear all, Welcome! My name is Domingo M. Rosaros Jr. I am from the Philippines. I have been an educator for 17 years, extensively both in my country and internationally. I have taught diverse students with different cultural backgrounds such as Koreans and Arabs. I was a teacher in Saudi Arabia for 5 years. Also, I rendered 6 years of teaching in the Kingdom of Bahrain where I both taught English to Middle School students. I may be new here in the United States, but my wide range of teaching experience helps me in my new teaching endeavors with my school community as a whole. I am currently an 8th Grade ELA and Expository Writing and Reading teacher at Kennedy Middle School. My specialization lies within understanding each student and their learning capabilities. I am very passionate about the importance of education, and I am very proud to be part of this noble profession. I always strongly believe in my philosophy as an educator, that as an educator, I do help my learners construct new knowledge rather than reconstructing it. Also, it is important to provide a stimulating educational environment where they can grow personally in different aspects such as mentally, socially, physically and emotionally. I hold a degree of Bachelor in Secondary Education major in English Language and Arts, graduated at the National Teachers College, Manila Philippines. Throughout my college education, I was granted a scholarship program by my school. Moreover, I am also a TESOL certified educator. I enjoy traveling, sports and current events. I love watching Educational Games such as Quiz Bee.
