6th Grade Math/Science - Virnich, Jennifer

About Me:

Hello! This is my first year at Kennedy Middle School. I am very excited to be joining Kennedy and am excited to meet all my students this year. I will be teaching 7th grade Math & 8th grade Science. I really love math and science. After working as a chemist for 8 years I realized my real passion was teaching students and getting them to love science as much as I do. I have taught math & science to students for 14 years, at all skill levels, and from grades 4 to 12.
My favorite things to do are: listening to music (including going to concerts), camping, traveling, playing video games, and being with my family. I grew-up in the midwest and have only lived in the Bay area for 4 years. It has been really great to explore so much of California with my husband and two sons.
