About Me: My name is Jane LaPaglia. This is my 20th year teaching in Redwood City School District. Over the years I have taught 6th, 7th, and 8th graders at Hoover, Selby Lane, and Kennedy. I am always excited to work with middle school-age students. Before I was a teacher, I worked in the cellular phone business as a manager for the companies Cellular One and AT&T Wireless. I have an Associate of Arts degree in English, a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management, and of course my teaching credentials. I continue to take coursework every year to help me to grow as a teacher. As for my family, I have been married to my husband Chris for 27 years. We have a daughter who is ten. My brother and his family live nearby, and I love spending time with my niece and nephews. When I’m not here at Kennedy teaching, I like reading, practicing yoga, cooking, hiking, camping, going to the movies, listening to music, and spending time with my family.
